Saudi Arab’s 1 Km High Skyscraper to Break Record of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa as Tallest Building

Fourteen years after its inception, the 828-meter-high Burj Khalifa in Dubai is going to lose its distinction as the world’s tallest building. According to Guinness World Records, after completion, a building under construction in Saudi Arabia will be taller than the Burj Khalifa.

This new Saudi Arabia building called Jeddah Tower or Kingdom will be over 1 km (1000 m) in height. It will include luxury housing, office space, serviced apartments, and luxury condominiums.

This tall building will also house the “world’s highest observatory.”

According to GWR, Jeddah Tower is being built at a cost of $1.23 billion.
