3-Yr-Old Falls into 40-ft Borewell in Bihar, Rescue Operation Underway

Bihar: A three-year-old boy named Shivam accidentally fell into an open borewell while playing in a field in Kul village, Bihar. The incident came to light when his friends informed Shivam’s mother, who was working nearby.

Authorities immediately sprang into action to initiate rescue ops. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and other rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene and commenced rescue operations. Thankfully, Shivam’s voice could be heard from within the borewell, indicating that he was still alive.

To facilitate the rescue, JCB machines were called to deliver oxygen and aid in extracting Shivam safely from the borewell. The area was cordoned off to ensure the efficiency and safety of the operation. Medical teams equipped with oxygen facilities were also present to provide immediate medical assistance.

Preliminary reports suggest that the borewell was left open by a farmer after an unsuccessful boring attempt, leading to the unfortunate incident. Authorities are investigating the matter further.

This incident is a stark reminder of the dangers posed by open borewells and the need for proper safety measures to prevent such accidents.
