Six people reportedly passed away immediately, while three others died en route to the hospital. The fact that 4 of the 9 fatalities were children is the worst part. They were all coming home after visiting religious sites.
Ten more people who were seriously hurt in this accident are receiving medical care at a hospital in Hassan. In addition, key administration officials arrived at the scene and pledged to support the victims in any way they could.
