James Cameron Heaps Praises On RRR; Rajamouli & Co. Ecstatic

New Delhi: RRR, the epic period drama by SS Rajamouli, has a new fan in none other than the legendary James Cameron. It’s true what you just read!

RRR received the Best Foreign Language Film Critics’ Choice Award on January 16 in Los Angeles. SS Rajamouli and composer Keeravaani took to social media to reveal that James Cameron had watched RRR twice.

At the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards, SS Rajamouli’s RRR took home two awards. The movie won in two categories – Best Song for its viral track Naatu Naatu and Best Foreign Language Film.

RRR was named the Best Foreign Language Film at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Jan 16. The movie recently won a number of accolades, including the 2023 Golden Globes.

SS Rajamouli is ecstatic since James Cameron watched RRR and discussed the movie for ten minutes with him. Sharing a couple of photos, Rajamouli tweeted, “The great James Cameron watched RRR.. He liked it so much that he recommended to his wife Suzy and watched it again with her. Sir I still cannot believe you spent a whole 10 minutes with us analyzing our movie. As you said I AM ON TOP OF THE WORLD… Thank you both.”
