Man Beaten, Forced to Drink Urine for Eloping with Married Woman in Madhya Pradesh; Videos Viral

Bhopal: A man was allegedly humiliated, beaten up, forced to drink urine and wear a garland of shoes for eloping with a married woman in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district.

When some videos of the incident went viral on social media, police have initiated action into the incident. But the victim has not lodged any complaint with the police.

In one of the videos, the man is seen wearing a garland of shoes and drinking a liquid, believed to be urine, as some people force him to consume it. The clip also shows him getting beaten by a woman, with whom he had allegedly eloped.

In another video, the victim is seen licking a shoe while he is forced to put another shoe on his head.

The clips show that half of his moustache and parts of his head were shaved off.

The video clips are said to be three-four days old. After the video clips appeared on social media, police proactively contacted the victim’s home but he was not present there. Police officials have spoken with the victim over phone and legal action will be initiated regarding the incident.
