Ministers can break the rule but the officials can’t do so. Know why Nitin Gadkari said so!

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari always stays in limelight for his statements. Sometimes Gadkari makes headline by speaking against his own party and sometimes by speaking in favor of the harsh reality. Now he has made such a statement for which he has put himself into trouble.

Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari attended the Health Science program of Maharashtra University in Nagpur. Here, while giving a speech, he said that the law should never be barrier to good work for the poor. The government has the power to break or end the law. Gadkari said that he is not saying this but Mahatma Gandhi said. He mentioned Gandhi and also said that it is not necessary to run the government according to the employees. According to Gandhi, it is not illegal to break a law if it hinders the development of the poor.

On the other hand, Gadkari went to Maharashtra in 1995 to share his experience during the Manohar Joshi’s government and said, I always tell the people of Odisha that what you say cannot be done, but you will only take my word for it. Gadkari told the officers that they have to implement what their ministers say.

Giving an example of this, Gadkari said that in 1995, thousand of indigenous children were victims of malnutrition in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. There were no roads to convey aid to the villages. On the other hand, thinking about building the road or obey the law and leave the hands of the people who are facing problems. He asked in the meeting that which one should be right to do.
