New Born Named After Express as Mother Gives Birth in Moving Train in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: A 24-year-old woman delivered a baby on the Mumbai-Varanasi Kamayani Express train in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district on Friday.

The family members named the newborn baby, Kamayani, after the train in which she was born.

The expectant mother was travelling on the train from Nashik in Maharashtra to Satna in MP along with her husband. She experienced labour pain between Bhopal and Vidisha.

According to the Railway Protection Force (RPF), two women travelling on the same coach helped the female passenger deliver the baby. A passenger alerted the RPF about the birth of the baby.

When the train halted at the Vidisha railway station, the newborn and the mother were rushed to the Harda District Hospital. The mother and the child are doing well.
