RSS Hails Lifting of Ban on Govt Employees Participating in Sangh Activities

New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Monday lauded the central government’s decision to lift the ban on government employees participating in RSS activities, calling it a boost to the country’s democratic framework.

The ban, which had been imposed by previous administrations, was criticized by the RSS as a move to further political agendas.

In a statement, RSS spokesperson Sunil Ambekar commended the government’s decision, stating, “The present decision of the government is appropriate and strengthens the democratic system of India.” He emphasized the RSS’s nearly century-long dedication to national reconstruction and societal service.

Ambekar highlighted the organization’s contributions to national security, unity, and disaster relief, noting that various leaders have recognized the RSS’s efforts over the years. He accused former governments of implementing the ban due to political motives, describing it as unjust and baseless.
