RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Embarks on 5-Day Odisha Visit for Internal Chintan Baithak in Rourkela

Bhubaneswar: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief, Mohan Bhagwat, will embark on a five-day internal visit to Odisha starting Monday, January 1, 2024. Sources confirmed that Bhagwat will arrive in Rourkela, the steel city of Odisha, on Monday, where he will participate in a closed-door “Chintan Baithak” (introspection session) of the RSS.

This exclusive gathering will be held at Agrasen Bhawan in Rourkela and will see the attendance of top national functionaries of the RSS, including country heads of various Sangh organs. The focus of the Chintan Baithak will be a comprehensive review of the RSS’s activities throughout the past year, along with strategizing and outlining plans for the upcoming year.

In contrast to previous visits, Bhagwat’s Odisha trip will be solely focused on the internal Chintan Baithak and will not involve any public programs. The RSS has emphasized that this is purely an organizational meeting and has confirmed that there will be no press meet associated with the event.
