RSS Changes Content, Curriculum And Format Of Training

Nagpur: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) announced revisions to its yearly training program curriculum and terminology, effective immediately. Manmohan Vaidya, joint general secretary of the RSS, revealed the changes during a press conference at the organization’s annual Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha conclave. He also stated that modifications have been made to the content and names of several training courses.

Key changes include the introduction of a new 3-day program called ‘Prarambhik Varg’ for new Sangh workers. Additionally, the duration of the ‘Sangh Shiksha Varg-Pratham Varsh’ program has been reduced from 20 days to 15 days. Furthermore, the previous ‘Dvitya Varsha’ and ‘Tritya Varsh’ classes will now be known as ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg-1’ and ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg-2’, respectively.

Vaidya highlighted that the curriculum for the ‘Tritya Varsh’ class has been adjusted to include behavioural training, with participants spending 5 days in the field. These revisions, both in content and nomenclature, will be implemented starting this year.

Regarding discussions on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections during the RSS conclave, Vaidya emphasized the organization’s commitment to promoting maximum voter turnout. He mentioned that RSS workers play a vital role in raising awareness about exercising voting rights among citizens.
