Drunk Driver Kills 3 Children, Injures 3 Others in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra

Agra: Tragedy struck in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra on Thursday morning when a speeding car ran over six children, leaving three dead and three injured. The children, all from the Springfield School, were waiting for their school bus on Fatehabad Road outside Bas Mahapat village when the accident occurred.

The deceased children were identified as Arvind, Pragya, and Gunjan. The driver of the vehicle, who was allegedly driving in an inebriated state, was arrested by the police. However, three other people who were accompanying him in the car managed to flee the scene.

The car involved in the crash was extensively damaged and is also in police custody. According to the police, there were four people in the car, three of whom managed to escape. The driver, identified as Akash, was apprehended by villagers and was sent for medical tests after the incident.

The police are currently on the lookout for the rest of the passengers involved in the accident. The incident serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety of children on roads and highways, especially during peak traffic hours.
