3 Siblings Charred to Death in West Bengal House Fire

Paschim Burdwan (WB): In a devastating incident that occurred on Saturday morning in West Bengal’s Paschim Burdwan district, three siblings lost their lives after their house caught fire.

The victims have been identified as Mangal Soren (33), Sumi Soren (35), and Sukumni Soren (28). Upon discovering the fire, the father and neighbours made a valiant effort to rescue the victims but were unsuccessful.

The bodies of the victims were taken to Durgapur sub-district hospital, where they were declared dead upon arrival.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, leaving the community in shock and confusion.

Authorities from the Faridpur police station are investigating the incident as an unnatural death. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain more details.

Eyewitnesses report that Mangal Soren suffered the most severe burn injuries. However, it is unclear why the siblings were unable to leave the room during the fire.

The community, aware of the family’s good reputation, is deeply saddened by this tragic event. The loss of the siblings has left the area in mourning.
