Cop Who Was Seen Wearing Vest, Towel On Duty In Viral Video Transferred

Lucknow: A sub-inspector has been transferred to the police lines following the circulation of a video in which he was observed wearing a vest and a towel while on duty.

Superintendent of Police, Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, disclosed that Sub-Inspector Ram Narain Singh, who was responsible for overseeing the Sindhia outpost under the jurisdiction of Kokhraj police station, was featured in a viral video while attending to the grievances of the public in attire comprising a vest and a towel.

In response to the incident, he has been reassigned to the police lines, as confirmed by Srivastava. Furthermore, an investigation into the matter has been entrusted to Circle Officer Awadhesh Vishwakarma of the Sirathu region.
