11-Yr-Old Girl raped by Residential School Owner & His Brother in MP

Bhopal: A person running a residential school illegally allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl along with his brother in Bhotagra village in Madhya Pradesh’s Tikamgarh district.

This illegally run residential school, has around 30 students from Classes 1 to 6. Police have arrested the two accused under sections 376 (rape), 506 (death threat) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The cousin of a Class 4 student allegedly saw her being raped by the accused and informed others. Parents of the victim are menial workers working in some other place. They had left their daughter to stay in the hostel of this residential school to study.

Police investigation proved that the brother of the owner of the residential school was also involved in the sexual exploitation of the victim. So, he was also arrested.

An investigation is on to find out whether other children residing in this illegally run residential school were victims of sexual harassment or not.
