50 Children Among 167 Odisha Migrant Labourers Rescued From Telangana Brick Kiln

Telengana: As many as 50 children and 47 women among 167 migrant workers from Odisha, who were engaged at a brick kiln at Jagatpalli in Telengana’s Pochampalli areas, were rescued on Monday night.

On being informed about the distressed condition of migrant brick kiln labourers,  a team from Pochampalli police station visited RRR Brick kiln at Jagatpalli of Pochampalli area. The cops carried out a search operation and rescued 167 labourers-70 men, 47 women and the rest 50 children.

During the investigation, it was found out that the rescued labourers are from Odisha. After being served with food, the labourers were sent to Bolangir by train.
