6 people lost lives during Lord Ganesh Immersion

New Delhi: Six people drowned in water during the immersion of Lord Ganesh idols in Mahendragarh and Sonipat districts of Haryana on Friday. 9 youths were swept away by the strong current while immersing in a 7 feet tall statue in a canal in Mahendragarh. 5 of them were rescued while 4 others died.

Similarly, 2 people drowned in the Yamuna river in Sonipat district.
