Adani’s alumina refinery plant will be located in Rayagada

Bhubaneswar: In the High-Level Approval Authority (HCLO) meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, approval has been given to investment projects worth Rs 74,620.18 crore. If these projects are implemented, employment opportunities will be created for 24,047 people in the state.

Adani Enterprises Limited will set up the biggest project approved in this meeting.

Adani will set up an alumina refinery with a capacity of 4 million tons per annum, and a captive power plant of 175 MW at Kashipur in Rayagada at an investment of Rs 41,653 crore. The project will create employment opportunities for 7750 people.
