Bengaluru Man Dies After Friend Inserts Blow Dryer Into Rectum

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old man was killed due to internal injuries after his friend inserted the nozzle of a blow dryer into his rectum “for fun” in Bengaluru.

The incident occurred on Monday in Bengaluru’s Sampigehalli area. The intestines of the victim as well as his colon were seriously damaged when his his abdomen expanded from the air pressure of the dryer.

The deceased was identified as Yogesh. On Monday, he went to the bike service centre where his friend, Murali worked.

Murali as part of a joke aimed the powerful electric blow dryer used for drying vehicles, at Yogesh. Suddenly Murali inserted the nozzle of the blow drier into the rectum of Yogesh for “amusement”.

The jet of air coming out from the blow drier at high pressure expanded Yogesh’s abdomen and his colon ruptured. He collapsed at the spot. He was rushed to the hospital, where he received emergency surgery. But he succumbed to his injuries.  shortly after. Doctors found that Yogesh had also sustained severe damage to his intestines. The incident occurred in Bengaluru’s Sampigehalli area.

Murali was arrested by the police and was booked under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which relates to culpable homicide.

Yogesh was worked as a delivery agent in Bengaluru.
