Elderly Woman Dies In Road Accident In Balangir

Balangir: An elderly woman was killed in a road mishap at Dhamandanga village under Kantabanji police limits of Balangir district.

The deceased has been identified as Lalita Putel, a resident of Dhamandanga village.

According to reports, the incident took place while Lalita was returning home after bathing at morning 6 am when a motorbike hit her. Subsequently, she sustained grievous injuries.

The injured woman was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, the doctor declared her brought dead.

On being informed, Kantabanji police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
