Leopard Attack Sparks Panic in Nuapada Village

Nuapada: Leopard attack sparked fear among the Dariyamahuabhata village in Odisha’s Nuapada district on Saturday.

According to reports, it has been alleged that a cow was killed and eaten by the leopard in the district.

On being informed, the Forest Department reached the village and recorded the footprints of the predator.

It is pertinent to note that for the last two days, leopard attacks is recorded continuously. On Thursday, while collecting firewood in the backyard of her house in Jalamdei village, a tiger came and pounced on her. As she did not return home until late at night, the family searched for him but could not find her.

Yesterday, a leopard killed a calf in Mohradihi village of the district.
