Low Blood Sugar Level Makes Gadkari Feel Sick

 

 

Kolkata: After attending a function in West Bengal’s Siliguri district, the Central minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari fell ill on Thursday afternoon. According to sources, his health condition is stable now.

As per reports, low blood sugar level was suspected to be the reason behind his sudden sickness. Fluctuating blood pressure added to the problem. Gadkari complained of not feeling well after laying the foundation stone of a proposed road connecting Siliguri with Sevak Cantonment.

He was taken to a local hotel for complete rest and his other programs for the rest of the day were canceled. Three doctors from the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) were rushed to the hotel to treat him via a green corridor to treat him. Doctors have advised rest for the Union Minister.

Receiving information about this, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, immediately called up the Commissioner of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, asking him to ensure that Gadkari gets proper medical attention.
