Playing Indian National Anthem “Underwhelming”, Opined Israeli Filmmaker Prior To His The Kashmir Files Remark

Goa: According to the latest media reports, Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid had downplayed the playing of the Indian national anthem even before he came up with the freakish remarks about the movie The Kashmir Files.

The Israeli scriptwriter, Lapid, while speaking to an entertainment publication in Goa commented about the playing of the Indian national anthem at IFFI Goa as “underwhelming”.

He said, “I completely admire the fierce patriotism, but that was an underwhelming experience for an artist at an international event.”

Notably, the filmmaker wreaked havoc in the media yesterday and was slammed for his freakish remarks on the movie The Kashmir Files. He had called the movie “propagandist” and “vulgar”.
