Poonawala Has No Regrets for Murdering Live-In Partner Shraddha

New Delhi: Aaftab Poonawala reportedly confessed of murdering his live-in partner and girlfriend Shraddha Walkar, during his polygraph test. According to sources, he was not having any regrets for his inhuman act.

But this confession during a polygraph test is not routinely accepted by courts.

Investigating officials are to conduct a narco-test of Poonawala. Court has permitted Delhi police to conduct this test on Poonawala between Dec 1 and 5. He will undergo this test in a laboratory in Rohini area of Delhi. He will be administered intravenous ‘truth serum’ like sodium pentothal, scopolamine, and sodium amytal. Under the influence of these drugs, the human mind becomes less inhibited and is more likely to divulge hidden information.

Aaftab Poonawala had allegedly strangled his live-in partner. He had sawed her body into 35 pieces, which he allegedly kept in a 300-litre fridge and dumped in a jungle over 18 days.

Although this murder took place in May, Poonawala was arrested on November 12. He was on police remand for two weeks. Since November 26 he is in judicial custody in Tihar jail.
