Prabhas’ Mythological Spectacle ‘Adipurush’ Expected to Breach ₹100 Cr Mark on Opening Day

Mumbai: The highly anticipated mythological drama “Adipurush,” featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is set to hit the floors tomorrow (June 16). According to renowned film and trade analyst Sumit Kadel, the movie is expected to dominate the box office on its opening day.

In terms of net domestic box office collections, the Hindi version of “Adipurush” is projected to earn approximately Rs 30 crore on Friday, while the Telugu and Kannada versions are likely to bring in around Rs 60 crore. Overall, the latest Prabhas film is anticipated to amass an impressive sum of Rs 80 crore to Rs 100 crore across all languages. On its opening day, “Adipurush” is expected to generate a worldwide gross box office collection ranging from Rs 120 crore to Rs 140 crore. The film will be released across over 6,200 screens in India, with the Hindi version alone occupying 4,000 screens.

The opening day collections of “Adipurush” are predicted to surpass those of SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture, “RRR,” which earned Rs 23.35 crore.
