Rahul Gandhi Meets Cousin Varun Gandhi of BJP at Kedarnath

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his cousin Varun Gandhi, a BJP MP met each other at the Kedarnath temple on Tuesday.

Both were at Kedarnath to offer prayers. It was a short meeting outside the Kedarnath shrine and both exchanged pleasantries. Rahul Gandhi was “very happy” to meet Varun’s daughter.

This meeting however triggered political speculations. Varun Gandhi is the son of Sanjay Gandhi and Maneka Gandhi. In the recent past, he has kept himself away from key BJP meets. He is also critical of the BJP’s policy regarding some key issues like the now-repealed farm laws.

Rahul Gandhi was at Kedarnath in Uttarakhand for the last three days. Varun Gandhi visited the Himalayan hill shrine with his family on Tuesday.
