As per the Netherland Team’s instruction, cricket enthusiasts from different parts of India had sent video clips of their bowling. Lokesh, a 29-year-old mystery spinner, also applied. To his surprise, he was selected as one of the four net bowlers for the team. Interestingly he has never played in any major tournament in his life.
Along with Lokesh, the Netherlands Team has also selected Hemant Kumar from Rajasthan, Rajamani Prasad from Hyderabad and Harsh Sharma from Kurukshetra, as net bowlers.
Hemant, Rajamani and Harsh have in the past served as net bowlers for different IPL teams.
