Three-Storey Rice Mill Collapses in Haryana; 4 Dead 20 Injured

Chandigarh: At least four persons were killed and 20 others were injured when a rice mill in Haryana’s Karnal collapsed on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday.

The collapsed rice mill was a three-storey structure located in Karnal’s Taraori. Some workers who slept at this Shiv Shakti Rice Mill are feared to be trapped under debris.

After the mishap, fire officials rushed to the spot to start the rescue operation. More than 100 people have been evacuated so far.

Police are interrogating the owner of the rice mill to ascertain the reason behind its collapse.
