3 Independent MLAs Withdraw Support to BJP Govt in Haryana

Chandigarh: Three independent MLAs, who were supporting the BJP’s Nayab Singh Saini-led government in Haryana, withdrew their support. These MLAs declared to campaign for the Congress candidates in the Lok Sabha elections.

The three independent MLAs are Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen and Dharampal Gonder. They made their announcement regarding it at a press conference held in Rohtak in the presence of former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and State Congress chief Udai Bhan.

Following this development, Congress demanded a President’s rule in Haryana with the claim that the incumbent BJP government has lost the majority in Haryana.

Udai Bhan claimed that the Nayab Singh Saini government is now a minority government and that he should resign from the Chief Minister’s post.

Reacting to the development, Nayab Singh Saini said, “I have received this information. Maybe Congress is engaged in fulfilling some people’s wishes now. Congress has nothing to do with the wishes of the public.”
