Wild Elephant Tramples Man To Death In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A man was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Kansar Panchayat in Uyomura block of Sambalpur district late last night on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Pradhan (57).

According to reports, the incident took place while Gopal was sleeping outside his hut when a elephant trampled him to death.

On being informed, police along with Forest department officials reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
