Ayodhya: On the day of Makar Sankranti in January 2024, the idol of Ram Lalla will be installed in the newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has planned a long celebration for the purpose, which would start from Diwali this year.
According to the general secretary of the trust, Champat Rai, the temple will be ready to welcome devotees by the end of December 2023. As Makar Sankranti is an auspicious day on the Hindu calendar, so the idol would be established in the temple on that day.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the grand opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. PM Modi had taken part in the “bhoomi pujan” of Ram temple in Ayodhya on August 5, 2020.
Mahant Nritya Gopal, the chairman of the trust has invited PM Modi for the ‘pran pratishtha’ (idol consecration) of Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram temple.
