Hockey World Cup | No Bad Weather Conditions For Bhubaneswar And Rourkela: IMD

Bhubaneswar: As Bhubaneswar and Rourkela gear to witness the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, weather conditions going to support both players and spectators.

The meteorological department said that weather conditions can not turn match days into spoilsport.

In a special bulletin for the Hockey World Cup, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday said the sky will be mostly clear in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Rourkela in the coming days. Even though the early phase of the day will be slightly foggy, the skies will open up as the day progresses.

This will create a perfect pitch for the scheduled matches in the respective places in Odisha. What is more exciting is the IMD’s forecast that there is no prediction of rain-related activities in the state till January 14, 2023.

“Minimum temperature (night temperature) is likely to rise gradually by 3 to 4 degree Celsius during the next three days and there will be no large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha,” said IMD.
