Man Hangs Self Over Family Feud In Bolangir

Bolangir: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his residence at Gandhinagar pada in Balangir district on Saturday over a family feud.

The deceased has been identified as Rohit Thappa, from Gourenmunda of Ghaisilot block in Bargarh district.

According to reports, a fight broke out between Rohit and his wife Kabita Sahu after he asked his wife for money for drinking. Upset over the matter, Rohit allegedly committed suicide.

The matter came to the fore after some onlookers found Rohit hanging and informed the police about the same.

On being informed, the Bolangir town police reached the spot and started a probe into the matter.
