Naba Das’ Daughter Dipali Responds Strongly To Narasingha Mishra’s Allegations

Jharsuguda/Bolangir: After senior Congress leader Narasingha Mishra on Tuesday added another twist to the Naba Das murder case, the daughter of slain Minister Deepali Das urged the former to refrain from ‘speculations’.

Amid the ongoing investigation into the case, the senior Congress legislator from Bolangir today hinted at a possible personal enmity behind the Health Minister’s murder.

“I doubt something wrong might have happened between the minister and Gopal’s niece following which the family members hatched a plan to eliminate him (Naba Das). After Gopal’s success in his attempt, he and his family members seem to be in great contentment. Gopal’s behaviour suggests this,” said Mishra.

“I was suspecting three conspiracies behind the murder. They were linked to business, politics and personal,” added Mishra.

Responding strongly to Mishra’s allegation, Dipali said,”I have known the senior Congress leader since my childhood and understand that my father used to respect him a lot. Both of them have also worked together for a long time.

She added, “It is barely 38 days since he left us all. At this moment of grief for me and my family, these kind of remarks, casting aspersions on the character of my father, is uncalled for and unethical.”
