Odisha Further Extends Deadline for Plus 2 Admissions in Higher Secondary Schools

Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education (S&ME) department in Odisha has announced an extension for the submission of online applications for Plus 2 admissions in Higher Secondary Schools. Responding to requests from parents, the department has extended the deadline for the second time.

Initially set for June 20, the last date was first extended to June 26 and has now been further extended to June 30. Students can conveniently submit their applications online through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Portal at www.samsodisha.gov.in until June 30.

The first merit list for Plus 2 admissions will be published on July 6, followed by the first phase of admissions from July 7 to 13. The second merit list will be released on July 19, and the admissions process will be finalized by July 22.

Additionally, a spot admission process will be conducted from July 21 to 27.

Finally, classes for the new batch of Plus 2 students are scheduled to commence on August 1.
