Rain, Thundershower Spell Expected in Several Odisha Districts on February 22

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar has forecasted light rain or thundershowers in several districts of Odisha starting from February 22. According to the mid-day bulletin, minimum temperatures have risen appreciably in some districts of North Interior Odisha and one or two places in South Interior Odisha.

However, there is no significant change elsewhere. The highest maximum temperature recorded was 35.4°C in Bhawanipatna, while the lowest minimum temperature was 14.8°C in Sundargarh.

Over the next two days, dry weather is expected in most districts of Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog is likely in certain areas, with a yellow warning issued for dense fog in specific districts including Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, and others on Monday. On Tuesday, similar weather conditions are anticipated with shallow to moderate fog expected in South Odisha.

Additionally, the IMD predicts no major changes in minimum temperatures over the next 4 to 5 days.
