Missing Youth Found Dead in Jajpur Forest, Family Suspects Foul Play

Jajpur: A 25-year-old youth, Sabyasachi Nayak, who had gone missing, was found dead today in a bamboo forest near the Kani riverbank and Palasahi village in Mallikapur panchayat, under Dasarathpur police jurisdiction in Jajpur.

Sabyasachi was the son of Chittaranjan Nayak from Mohantypatana village of Jajpur.

Sabyasachi’s family had launched an extensive search for him when he went missing, but their efforts were in vain. Fortunately, he was spotted by local residents in the morning, who subsequently informed the police.

Upon receiving information, a police team immediately reached the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident. The Dasarathpur police have taken custody of Sabyasachi’s body and sent it to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The family of Sabyasachi has expressed their suspicions about foul play, alleging that he may have been murdered. They have voiced concerns about the rampant drug peddling in the district and suspect the involvement of drug addicts in the crime.

In response to an FIR lodged by the family, the Dasarathpur police have called in the assistance of a scientific team to aid in the ongoing investigation.

The circumstances surrounding Sabyasachi Nayak’s death remain mysterious, and a police investigation is actively underway to uncover the truth.
