Nitish’s challenges Modi! Said the winner of 2014 should worry about winning in 2024

JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar on today. After taking the oath, Nitish challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2024 general elections. He said, “The hero of 2014 is wondering if he can repeat the victory in 2024.” He said that he is not a candidate for any such post including Prime Minister. However, he said that he wants to unite the opposition in the country by the time of 2024 general elections.

Nitish’s statement comes at the time when gossips about his ambition to become the Prime Minister behind his break with BJP are going on. Nitish has been the Chief Minister of Bihar 8 times in 22 years. However, since the formation after the 2020 assembly elections, nothing was going will between the JD(U) and the BJP in the state.

According to local leaders, the BJP fielded Chirag Paswan to lose more seats to the JD(U) in the polls. JD(U) had to face loss of seats due to Chirag paswan in the assembly elections. This election conspiracy was in Nitish’s mind. Apart from this, Nitish’s conflict with Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar acted as a rift in the relationship between the two parties. This was a reason for Nitish to part ways with R.P. Singh’s procurement.
