T20I Squad for West Indies Tour Announced, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli Rested

New Delhi: BCCI announced the Indian squad for the five-match T20I series against the West Indies on Wednesday. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested.

A number of youngsters are in this squad. They include Tilak Varma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Umran Malik, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar and Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav. Two wicket-keepers Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan have been picked up.  The squad also has Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill.

Hardik Pandya has been named as the skipper for the series.

The T20I series between India and West Indies will be played from August 3 to August 13. Three matches will be played in West Indies, and then the two teams will move to the United States where the last two T20Is will take place.
