Abducted Girl Rescued in Nayagarh, 4 Kidnappers Arrested

Bhubaneswar: Nayagarh police rescued a girl from the clutches of the kidnappers in Nayagarh district of Odisha within a few hours of her abduction on Friday.

According to reports, the victim was kidnapped from the Rajpatna area while she was returning home on her bicycle.

The abductors dragged the girl into a car and escaped towards the Chandibasta area. Receiving information, personnel of Nayagarh Sadar police station intercepted the kidnappers’ car near Chandibasta road after a brief chase.

All the four accused involved in the kidnapping were nabbed and the abducted girl was rescued. The nabbed abductors were identified as Raghunath Pradhan, Santosh Dora, Kishore Chandra and Jitendra Biswal.

An investigation is on to find out the reason behind this kidnapping.
