Balangir Govt Ayurvedic College Principal in Vigilance Net

Bhubaneswar: To investigate allegations of disproportionate assets (DA) amassed, Odisha Vigilance officials on took up simultaneous searches at properties linked to Prof (Dr) Sudarshan Behera, Principal of the Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital in Balangir on Thursday.

Acting on search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, these raids are being conducted by teams of vigilance officials involving 8 DSPs, 6 Inspectors, and other staff. Search operations are on at 6 places in Puri, Sambalpur, and Bolangir districts:

*The residence of Dr Sudarshan Behera at Jaypur of Sakhigopal area in Puri district.

*The house of Dr Behera at Nahala under Satyabadi police station in Puri district.

*House of Dr Behera at Kashiharipur under Puri Sadar police station limits.

*The official quarters of Dr Behera’s wife inside the CRPF campus in the Sambalpur district.

*The house of Dr Behera’s relative at Simili village in Sorisiapada under Gop police station in Puri district.

*The office room of Dr Behera at Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital in Balangir district.
