Colombo: Bangladesh have set a target of 266 runs for India in the final Super 4 match after Shardul Thakur and Mohammad Shami made early breakthroughs.

The Bangladeshi team faced a challenging situation at 59/4 before Shakib Al Hasan (80) and Towhid Hridoy (54) displayed resilience, adding 101 runs to stabilize the innings.

However, after Shakib’s dismissal, it was the Bangladeshi tail-enders who stepped up, with Nasum Ahmed (44), Mahedi Hasan (29), and Tanzim Hasan (14) contributing crucial runs to take their team to a formidable total of 265/8 (50 ov).

India have already secured their spot in the Asia Cup final. They are set to face Sri Lanka in the final showdown on Sunday, making it an exciting finale to look forward to.
