Bangladeshi Infiltrator Shot Dead by BSF in West Bengal’s Malda

Kolkata: An unidentified Bangladeshi infiltrator was shot dead by BSF personnel in Malda district of West Bengal on Tuesday night. He was trying to enter India by crossing the barbed fencing at the border.

The Bangladeshi intruder was spotted by the personnel of the 70th battalion patrolling at the Indo-Bangladesh border areas at Naoda area under Kaliachak Police Station in Malda district.

Despite being cautioned the infiltrator did not refrain from the attempt to cross borders.

So, the BSF personnel fired at him. The injured infiltrator died on Wednesday morning.
