Court Allows Jailed Sisodia to Meet Ailing Wife Once a Week

New Delhi: The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Monday allowed jailed former Delhi Minister AAP leader Manish Sisodia to meet his ailing wife once a week in custody parole.

In his petition before the court, Sisodia had sought permission to meet his wife twice every week.

According to Sisodia’s application, his wife is suffering from multiple sclerosis for the past 20 years.

Sisodia was arrested in February 2023 in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam. He has been denied bail repeatedly by the court. The Supreme Court also quashed his bail plea on the grounds of an established money trail in the case.

The hearing on Sisodia’s regular bail plea will be on February 12.
