Engine Gets Detached from Goods Train, Rolls for 2 Km at Soro

Soro: Bogeys of a coal-loaded gods train got detached from the engine at Soro on Saturday. Leaving behind the coal wagons, the engine traveled on for around two kilometers.

As per reports, this goods train had started off from Dhamra, and its engine for some reason got detached from the train to travel without the wagons for some distance at Soro railway station.

By the time the pilot of the engine noticed the issue, it had already traveled around two kilometers.

The engine was rolled back and wagons were recoupled with it to resume the journey after a delay of around 25 minutes.
