Hardik Pandya Pens Emotional Message After Ruled Out of World Cup for Injury

New Delhi: Ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya posted an emotional message after being out of the rest of the World Cup 2023 campaign of Team India.

He injured his ankle while bowling against Bangladesh on October 19. On Saturday, the ICC announced that Pandya will not take further part in the tournament and that Prasidh Krishna will replace him in the Indian team.

Reacting to this sad situation, Pandya wrote an emotional message on X saying, “Tough to digest the fact that I will miss out on the remaining part of the World Cup. I’ll be with the team, in spirit, cheering them on every ball of every game. Thanks for all the wishes, the love, and the support has been incredible. This team is special and I’m sure we’ll make everyone proud. Love, always, HP.”

Pandya, one of the most crucial players for India in the World Cup 2023 put India in a big fix due to his injury. But despite his absence Team India have continued the winning spree.
