Judicial Custody of AAP Leader Manish Sisodia Extended Till Apr 18

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Saturday extended the judicial custody of AAP leader Manish Sisodia till April 18 in a money laundering case linked to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam.

Sisodia was produced before the court on the expiry of the judicial custody granted earlier. Sanjay Singh, a co-accused in the case, who was recently granted bail by the Supreme Court in the case, also appeared before the court for the proceedings.

Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26, 2023, for his alleged role in the “scam”. Sisodia resigned from the Delhi cabinet on February 28, 2023. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Sisodia in a money-laundering case stemming from the CBI FIR on March 9, 2023.
