Terrorists Gun Down Migrant Worker From UP in J&K’s Pulwama

Srinagar: A migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh was killed in a terrorist attack in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. The victim, Mukesh, was shot by terrorists in the Tumchi Nowpora area. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

This is the second terrorist attack in Pulwama within 24 hours. On October 29, Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani was shot three times while participating in a cricket game in the Eidgah area.

Security forces have been deployed in large numbers in Pulwama and other parts of Jammu and Kashmir to maintain law and order. Stringent vehicle and pedestrian inspections have been initiated, and mobile checkpoints have been positioned at key junctions.
