Morning School Timing Rescheduled in Khuda Dist Due to Heat Wave

Bhubaneswar: The class timing at schools in Khurda district was rescheduled because of the intense heatwave conditions.

Khurda district Collector Chanchal Rana through an order has rescheduled the school timing.

As per the new timing, the classes for students from Class I to Class XII in all government, government aided and privately managed schools will be from 6.30 am to 10.30 am until further orders, stated the order issued by the Khurda district Collector.

Added to it, all Anganwadi centres in the Khurda district will remain open from 6.30 am to 10.30 am untill further orders.

The state government had earlier announced that the classes for students from Class I to Class XII in all schools in Odisha will be held from 7 am to 11.30 am from April 2.

But the district Collectors were empowered to modify the school timing on the basis of the weather situation.
