Odisha’s Satbir Singh Riar Would be Team India’s Manager for South Africa Test Series

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cricket Association member Satbir Singh Riar has been appointed as the manager of the Indian Cricket Team for Test series with South Africa, informed OCA secretary Sanjay Behera.

Riar hails from Malkangiri district in Odisha. He will be the manager of Team India in the first Test in Centurion and second Test in Cape Town.

OCA office bearers including its president Pranab Prakash Das, and secretary Sanjay Behera congratulated Riar for this remarkable achievement. Riar also thanked OCA for its support because of which he could achieve this.

In the past, Riar has taken up the mantle as the manager of Odisha U-16, U-19 and Ranji teams. Now he will be in charge of Team India.

According to Riar, he was hopeful that cricket players from Odisha will play for India as well as IPL teams in future.
