25 Killed, Over 50 Injured as Blast Rocks Political Meeting in Pakistan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: A blast ripped through a political party meeting organized by Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan on Sunday. The explosion claimed the lives of at least 25 people and injured more than 50 others.

Emergency Officer Saad Khan confirmed the number of casualties and said that the injured were taken to nearby hospitals in Peshawar and Timergera. The scene was cordoned off by the police, while ambulances rushed to transport the wounded to medical facilities.

JUI-F leader Hafiz Hamdullah condemned the attack and demanded a thorough investigation. He said that such acts were not a form of jihad but blatant terrorism, characterizing it as an attack on humanity and Bajaur.

Numerous leaders from across Pakistan also expressed their condemnation of the attack and offered their condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased.

The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the nation, calling for a swift response to apprehend those responsible and prevent further acts of violence.
